What it does
Strategy #5 PRO waits for the Rider Band to change color and for price to break away from it, then plans the retest: a limit order at the edge of the band, a stop and three profit zones, all learned from the chart's own history. Think of a guide who has walked the same trail many times and tells you how deep the path usually dips and how far it usually goes.
How to read it
- ARMED means a setup is waiting: the limit price, the stop and the three profit zones are drawn to the right of the last candle before you place anything.
- WAITING means the setup is armed but price is still far from the band.
- When the retest candle closes, check its grade. A is the cleanest setup, B deserves more caution, and C means the retest failed on first contact.
- The plan takes partial profits at TP1 and TP2 and lets the rest run with a trailing stop.
- The results table shows how every past retest on this chart did, grade by grade.
When to use it
- After a confirmed trend change, to join on the first pullback with a defined risk.
- On daily and weekly charts, where the band changes color rarely and each retest carries weight.
When not to use it
- In sideways markets where the band keeps flipping color.
How we tested it
The stop and profit zones mix the chart's own history with a reference measured on crypto, stocks, indices, gold, oil and forex. Every past retest is replayed with the levels the script would have shown at that moment, after fees.
