Strategy #1 — Sudden Moves on a TradingView chart

What it does

Strategy #1 plans a buy-limit order on pullbacks inside an uptrend, before price gets there: where to buy, where the stop goes and two profit targets, drawn to the right of the last candle. It also replays nine variations of that plan on the chart's own history, so every level comes with its track record on that asset.

How to read it

  1. The Optimizer Line is the trend's support. While price stays above it, the trend is up. A flip needs two fully closed candles beyond the line.
  2. A new higher high arms the order. A BUY LIMIT appears at the line and follows it at every candle close until it fills.
  3. Pick how deep you buy: at the line, a bit below (Medium) or further below (Deep). Deeper gets a better price but fills less often.
  4. Stop and targets are sized by volatility (ATR), so they adapt to how much the asset normally moves.
  5. The table shows how each variation of the plan behaved on this chart before. Use the one that fits the asset.

When to use it

  • Trending assets where you want to buy the dip with a plan instead of chasing green candles.
  • Daily and weekly charts when you can't watch the screen all day.

When not to use it

  • Sideways markets with no clear trend: the line flips often and plans fail more.

How we tested it

Every plan is replayed on the history of the chart you open, with the same rules it uses live. Signals only count on closed candles.
