Strategy #2 — Bounce Continuation on a TradingView chart

What it does

Strategy #2 waits for price to pull back to the trend line, bounce, and confirm the bounce. Then it draws the whole trade: where to enter, where the stop goes and two targets. Strategy #1 places its order before the wave arrives; Strategy #2 waits to see the wave break and then plans the trade. It works for buys and sells.

How to read it

  1. Look at the table first. If a side says Off, the trend is against it.
  2. Get ready (a small yellow tag) means price touched the line the right way and a signal may come in the next candles.
  3. Strat #2 BUY / SELL is the confirmed signal at the close of the candle. The tags show the plan: entry, stop, Target 1 and Target 2.
  4. Choose how to enter: at the close of the signal candle, halfway to the line, or at the line with a limit order.
  5. Check "Did it work before?" in the table. Treat MIXED or NOT ENOUGH DATA with extra caution.

When to use it

  • When you prefer to act after the market confirms the bounce, not before.
  • Together with Strategy #1: they share the same trend line and their tables don't overlap.

When not to use it

  • Choppy markets where price keeps crossing the line without follow-through.

How we tested it

Every signal is turned into a trade plan and replayed on the chart's own history, within 30 candles and after fees. In Auto mode it uses the setup that earned the most per dollar risked on that chart.
