Strategy #3 — Stacking Signals on a TradingView chart

What it does

Strategy #3 marks the moments when several reversal signals pile up on the same side within a few candles. Think of it as a smoke detector for exhausted moves: one wisp of smoke means little, but three alarms in the same room deserve your attention.

How to read it

  1. Read the table first. It tells you whether the markers have been reliable on this asset and timeframe.
  2. TP (red, above the candle): the up move may be running out of steam. It is a cue to protect profits or take partials, not a short entry.
  3. Reversal? (green, below the candle): a down move may be ending. Don't act on it alone: wait for a confirmation such as a Strategy #2 setup.
  4. Hover a marker to see which signals stacked: momentum stretch, divergence and Stoch RSI extremes.
  5. Exhaustion zones show where buyers or sellers ran out. A close beyond the zone means the move has resumed.

When to use it

  • On higher timeframes (1D, 1W, 1M), where markers are rare and carry more weight.
  • To decide when to protect profits on a long that has run far.

When not to use it

  • As a stand-alone entry signal on low timeframes.

How we tested it

Every marker on the chart you open is judged over the next ten candles with the same rules, and the table shows the result for each side.
